Two quick stories

It was pretty rainy a few days ago. As we were driving to daycare, Edwin observed "there's no rain under the car". Indeed.

While Edwin seems to be completely vegetarian, Zachary seems to have some of the instinctive "hunter" rather than "gatherer"... We were at Longwood gardens today, and saw a squirrel in the topiary. Zachary dropped down to a crawl and began to slowly and quietly stalk it!

This past Saturday, we took Edwin to our favorite hangout, Longwood Gardens!  It was nice out, allowing for outdoor play in the children's garden.  Edwin was playing, as he does, in the woodchips.  He spied something that was darker than the other woodchips and became hopeful.  He bit into it, saying, "Edwin is eating the chocolate!" but alas, dark woodchips don't quite have the same flavor.  He thought about it and then corrected himself, "Edwin is eating the pretend chocolate".
