Well, yesterday, Edwin and Mommy had their first trip to the pool alone together.  It's amazing, people are soooo nice when you have a baby!  It's as if you live in a big world of mommies and daddies suddenly.  "Oh, he's sooo cute!  He reminds me of when my son/daughter was that small" and then you talk baby talk.  It's like this big fraternity.  These people also offer to hold your kid while you do other stuff, like this sweet lady in the pool said she'd hold Edwin while I swam.  Although it's sweet of her to offer, and I'd certainly be willing to hold someone else's baby like that- she's *still* a stranger.  Funny that.  With all the stuff that goes on, you have to always be aware of that silly little fact.  But at least they're nice strangers.  Oh, and Edwin had a blast in the pool.  He would put his own face in the water, unwittingly, and then act all surprised.  I told him he did it himself.  But it was all fine.  We both really appreciated the break from the heat!
