Well, let's see... This is Donna, Edwin's mom. This is my second attempt to start a blog for Edwin. I didn't like how the yahoo blog software messed up my entries, so I figured I'd try this site. I think it's probably the most popular blog hosting site, or at least one of the top ones.

Edwin is 12 weeks old today! It's also the first day he willingly took any appreciable amount of expressed mommy-milk. yeah! He took 5 1/2 ounces from Daddy. That milk had been frozen for one week, so that's good news!

It's also the first time Edwin has tasted anything other than mommy-milk (except for the 2 ounces of formula he had in the hospital). We let him taste mint, sage, cilantro, basil, and lemon balm. Those are all from our garden. I licked them first and bit them a bit to get the flavors out, then let Edwin lick the leaves on my fingers. He was amused!

Edwin is really learning to play with hangy-toys. This all just started this week, and it's really starting to get exciting! Tuesday, we get to participate in baby-research. That will be fun!
