Edwin has a funny way of explaining things. When he wants someone to do something, he says that they want to do the thing. For instance, if he wants to have me read him a book, he'd say "Daddy wants to read the book to Edwin". Whether or not I actually want to read said book is irrelevant. However, sometimes statement and reality line up surprisingly well...
The two boys were home playing in their room around lunch time, when for no reason at all, Zachary began a high-pitch wail/scream. (Edwin was in another part of the room, minding his own business.) However, Edwin knew what this unpleasant outburst meant (as did I), and declared loudly "Zachary wants to take a nap!"
