Edwin had a playdate w/a little 12 mo. old girl today, Lilian. :)  They were pretty good together!  He needs to learn how to be aware of her presence and not try to run into her with his dumptruck!  He hogs certain toys, like the piano, without realizing it, too.  Other toys, he shares very well.  He tried to demonstrate his vibrating teether to her and then tried to put it in her mouth.  She didn't understand what he was doing. :)    One funny thing was that Lilian had snacks (mostly Cheerios and some stars mixed in) with her, and so I got out Cheerios for Edwin.  Instantly, Edwin wanted *her* snacks, and *she* wanted *Edwin's*.  That worked out just fine for everyone!  I even got a video clip of him feeding her a cheddar bunny.  :) A similar effect occurred when I gave each of them a sopranino recorder.  Each was fascinated with the one I had given the other.  There was no convincing either child that the toys were identical! They seemed to get along pretty well overall.
