Ahh... Finally, a moment alone with the computer!  I can finally write the blog I'd wanted to on Friday, and here it is Sunday. :)

Friday was Michael's 'last' day of work for the summer.  Edwin and I went in with him to work, then went to the park again.  We stayed over an hour, much of that time on the new baby-swing which was installed sometime between Tuesday morning (when we were last at the park) and Friday morning.  He totally loved it!!!  He giggled and smiled and took great photos there!

Then, we headed over to the mall for a bite to eat.  I got some TacoBell items and fed him beans and rice over by the carousel, to whet his appetite for the upcoming ride.  It worked.  I had to keep shoveling food into his mouth, because his eyes were glued to the carousel!  I found a small horse near a chariot and he had a ball!  He was happy to go up and down, but then he started looking around and got a little bit confused.  He looked up and stared at the mechanism, then started acting like he'd had enough and wanted me.  I took him over the to chariot where we spent the remainder of the ride together.  What a blast! :)

As if that weren't enough for a day, I packed him back into the car and headed over to the zoo.  He'd never seen a zoo before.  But alas, he fell asleep on the way to the zoo, so we sat in the car for about half an hour or so, until some small noise woke him.  I took the tired but interested boy into the zoo, and he lasted over 3 hours, I think!  We saw monkeys, fish, birds, lions, and lots of things!  He loved seeing the large birds most, I think.  But the monkeys were kindof cool too.  I'm not sure he understands they're not people...  I'm just saying that because he didn't seem quite as impressed as I'd thought he would be by them!

So, now, back at home, he is having a great weekend ...  relaxing!  He's currently asleep.  Work is going well on the fence.  I'm nearly half-done with the inside of the fence.  I suspect the outside should be easier, since it's all flat.  I won't need to paint posts or support beams on the outside!  I'm looking forward to *that*!  But, it will be awhile yet!
