He just stood himself up!!!  I mean that I left him in a seated position next to the sofa, and he managed to get himself standing up using the sofa!!!  Even with socks on!!!  I'm sooo excited!!!

Earlier this week, he learned how to climb/fall off the sofa as well.  I was sitting on the sofa and he was about to go head-first off, so I placed a pillow under his head and he was fine otherwise.  I did this twice.  But, he does need to learn about gravity, so now there is a soft blanket there rather than a pillow... a compromise.  If he falls, he'll know he has fallen, but it won't be quite as hard as the floor.
